Abu Ma'bad, the freed slave of Ibn 'Abbas (RA) narrated: Ibn 'Abbas(RA) told me: "In the lifetime of the Prophet (peace be upon him) it was the custom to remember ALLAH by glorifying, praising and magnifying ALLAH aloud after the compulsory cngregational Salah. Ibn'Abbas (RA) further said, "When I heard the Dhikr, I would learn that the compulsory congregatoinal Salah had ended". (Bukhari)

Thauban (RA) narrated: Whenever Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) finished his salah, he used to say, after asking Allah's forgiveness (saying Astagfirullaaha) three times: Allahumma Antassalaamu wa minkas-salaamu, tabaarakta ya dhal Jalaali wal-ikram. (O Allah, You are peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O owner of Majesty and Honor.)[Muslim]

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to say after every obligatory prayer: "Laa ilaaha illaallahu wahdahu laa sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul hamdu, wa huwa alaa kulli shai'in Qadir. Allahumma laa mani'a lima a'taita, wa laa mu'tiya lima mana'ta, wa laa yanfa'u dhal-jaddi minkal-jadd. (There is no god worthy of worship except ALLAH and He has no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom, to Him praise is due, and He is Omnipotent. O Allah no one can withhold what You have given, or give what You have withheld and riches cannot avail a wealthy person against You.) [Agreed upon]

Narrated Sa'b bin Abi Waqqas (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) used to seek Allah's protection by invoking this supplication at the end of every Salah. I seek refuge in You from stinginess, I seek refuge in You from cowardice, I seek refuge in You from old geriatric age, I seek refuge in You from the temptation of the world and I seek refuge in You from the punishment in the grave. [Bukhari]
